Profile of the Vice Chairman

• CMA Nanty Nalinkumar Shah has been elected as Vice Chairman of the Western India Regional Council of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India for the period 2025-2026.
• He served as a Secretary of ICMAI-WIRC for the year 2024-25 & Treasurer of ICMAI-WIRC for the year 2023-24.
• Also he served as a Chairman Members & Chapters Coordination Committee of WIRC, Taskforce for members in Practice of WIRC for the year 2023-24 & 2024-25. Also served as a Chairman of Taskforce for Social Media f WIRC for the year 2023-24.
• Practicing Cost Accountant –since 2011

• He is B.Com, FCMA, DISSA, DFA and having having practical exposure of around 13 years in the field of Cost & Management Accountancy.
• He has done Diploma in Forensic Audit (DFA) and Diploma in Information System and Security Audit(DISSA) from The Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
• One of first 2 people from Gujarat to be recognized as XBRL Conversion Service Provider by MCA during 2011-12 when XBRL was first introduced in filing of Financial Statement.
• Managing Committee Member (2013-15, 2017-19, 2019-23), Joint Secretary(2014-15), Treasurer (2017-19), Secretary (2019-20), Vice Chairman for 2020-21 and Chairman of Surat South Gujarat Chapter, The Institute of Cost Accountants of India( 2021-22 and 2022-23)
• Acted as Secretary Surat Branch of WICASA (Western India CA Student Association) in 2007-08 and Vice Chairman (highest position that can be held by Student) – WICASA in 2008-09, as vice chairman won award for best branch in region and nation. 
• Also a Member of SGCCI, Society for Tax Analysis and Research, Young Indians(CII Youth unit) and Surat South Gujarat Commercial Tax Bar Association.
